ICE Upgrade May 29, 2013

Dear Valued ICE Clients,

Thank you for your continued use of ICE. This email is to inform you that we are ready to release a minor upgrade to ICE. This upgrade will occur Wednesday, May 29 at 8:00PM MT.

The minor upgrade to na2.icedentalsystems.com includes:

Imaging:

  • We have added direct integration for Sigma sensors. For more information on implementing this feature, please contact Client Care.
  • We have added direct integration for Canon DSLR cameras. For more information on implementing this feature, please contact Client Care.

Charting:

  • Occlusal view changes for restorative charting
  • Resolve a bug with customized code not displaying in the procedure list
  • Resolve a bug in faculty authorization in the charting notes

Financials:

  • Added patient summary information to patient ledger.
  • Improvements with creating new advanced payment plans.
  • Recurring Invoice Plans can now include charted procedures.

Practice Areas:

  • Added Location filter to Live Dashboard.
  • New Report – Recorded Procedures in Financials by Student Provider
  • Report – Deposit Slip by Payment – Print a payment receipt.
  • Bug Fixes in automation and report history.

Scheduling:

  • Negative numbers are now allowed in Jump Date buttons.
  • We have improved Appointment Drag/Drop to Clipboard. There were times when the Appointment would not properly drop. We believe we have fixed this.

Recall and Notes:

  • Recall and Notes now incorporates the Patient Search used in the rest of the system.
  • Patient Search has been added to the top-right corner.

Reporting:

  • We have resolved a bug with “Search Results By Appointment Status” that was introduced in the last upgrade.
  • We have resolved a bug with “Appointment Types By Provider/Resource” that was introduced in the last upgrade.
  • Searchable Grids have been added to all of Reporting. This will make it easier to find specific items in your results.

Please clear your cache following the upgrade to ensure that you receive the improvements.
