2.10 Editing Patient Instructions for Access to ICE

Patients are either sent an automated email or your staff will print a letter with instructions on how to access assigned forms and patient education content from ICE (see also 10.2 Emailing or Printing Patient Access Instructions).

  1. Click the My Profile icon My Profile Icon in the menu bar.
  2. Click to expand Information Templates in the My Profile bar, and then click Patient Access Instructions.
  3. Below Information Templates/ Patient Access Instructions, type the text you wish to add (such as contact information, a closing statement, and your name) in the template. Please note: DO NOT change fields within { } brackets, which are auto-populated when a letter is created for a patient (see also 10.2 Sending Patient Access Instructions via Email and Printing Patient Access Instructions).
  4. Click Save Changes.
