14.4 Uploading a File

 

Upload files from your computer to your patient’s records in the Correspondence module.

 

  • 1. Click the Correspondence icon  in the ICE Dental menu bar.
  • 2. Click Upload File in the Correspondence tab.

  • 3. Locate the file on your computer. Click to choose the file and then click Open.
  • 4. The file will upload and be listed in the patient’s files (beside a File icon ).

  • 5. Select the PV (Visible to Patient) checkbox to make the file available to the patient.
  • 6. To view a file, click View under the title. The file will open up in a new browser tab.

  • 7.  To download a file to your computer, click Download under the title.
  • 8.  To rename a file, click Rename under the title. Type a new name in the Rename dialog box and then click OK.

  • 9. To delete a file, click Delete under the title. Click Yes to confirm that you would like to delete the file.
