  • 1. Begin creating a letter, following instructions from Creating a New Letter 14.2.3.
  • 2. To save the letter as a draft, click Save as Draft at the bottom of the Structure column.

  • 3. Click to type a name in the Draft Name dialog box. Click OK.

  • 4. The Letter draft will now be  listed in the Correspondence tab file list (beside a Letter Draft icon ).

  • 5. To return to editing the letter, click Open Draft under the title in the file list.
  • 6. The ICE Letters Editor will open with the letter draft and you can continue to build and edit the letter.

 



 

B: Saving a Letter as a Template

 

 A saved template becomes available in the Saved Templates list in the Build tab of the ICE Letters Editor.

 

  • 1. Begin creating a letter, following instructions from Creating a New Letter 14.2.3.
  • 2. To save the letter as a template, click Save as Template at the bottom of the Structure column.

  • 3. Click to type a name in the Template Name dialog box. Click OK.

  • 4. The letter template will now be  listed in the Saved Templates at the bottom of the Structure column.

  • 5. To access the template, click Create New in the Correspondence module.
  • 6. The ICE Letters Editor window will open. In the Build tab, under the Structure column, click Saved Templates and then click to choose a template from the list.
  • 7. The template will become available in the Build tab for you to edit.
