10.5 Searching and sorting within a Patient Record’s Detailed History

  1. Click the patient history icon Patient History Icon in the menu bar.
  2. Choose the patient whose history you want to view. If the patient name shown in the patient bar is not correct, type the patient’s name in the Patient Search box and click the patient’s name from the list.
  3. Search for an action in a specific section (charting or patient forms, for example) by typing the section in the box below the Section column title. The Patient History Detailed list will show results as you type.
  4. Search for actions in the patient’s record by typing the action under the Action column heading.
  5. Type the name of the User below the User column title to search for the provider or patient actions in the patient record.
  6. Type the date below the Date column heading to search for specific time periods.
  7. Sort the Patient History Detailed list from the least to most recent action by clicking the black triangle beside the Date column title.
